Passion

You are here

“WOW !!!“

Can you imagine, that only 3% of the population of the United States will be taken up? !!!

Please give us a few moments and we will explain what this painting means and tell you why it is the Greatest event, that has ever happened on this earth.

Rapture

We will also share with you why we believe that it is going to be soon and how you can be prepared to go with us when it happens.

Thank you for hanging with us.

This painting is an artist conception of what the Bible is referring to, when it says, that Jesus will come again for His Church.

There are five sets of scripture describing Jesus coming in the clouds to get His church. They are in, Matthew 24, Luke 21, Mark 13, Acts chapter one and then in Revelation chapter 14:14.

Look at the different things that are happening all at once.

You see the graves releasing the dead bodies and they are being transformed into a resurrected body and now they are headed up to meet Jesus.

Then you see the people that are still alive and they are being transformed into people with a resurrected body and they are headed up to meet Jesus.

Immediately after this tremendous event, the world will be thrown into total shock and confusion. You will be seeing TV and News Paper HEADLINES reading like this. Millions are missing!

There will be fear, rioting, looting and people attacking each other because they are so confused and frightened.

Please look at this chart that shows the Plan of the Ages. It will show, where we are, in the schedule of prophetic events.

You will notice to the left of the chart, that it begins with the creation of man. Then the chart moves to the right showing past history and the covenants that God has made with man down through the ages.

Bible Map

Beginning with Adam and Eve on your left, there is a set of prophecies that weave them selves all the way through the Old Testament scripture to the last book of the Old Testament, which is the book of Malachi.

I would like to bring to your attention that the main source of this information can be found in the Jewish book called the Torah and that same information is also found in the Protestant and Catholic Bibles in the Old Testament.

A definition of the word prophecy is, God speaking and writing HISTORY in advance before it happens.

There are four sets, of prophecies that are in these books, but for the sake of time we will only discuss two sets.

The first set of prophecies have already been fulfilled and they were foretelling of the first coming of Jesus, God’s Son, who is also the Messiah, the King of the Jews and the Lamb of God.

Please look at the upper section of this chart. This completed and fulfilled set of prophecies is why we celebrate Christmas, the Birth of Jesus Christ God’s only begotten Son.

There is a four hundred year silence, where God does not speak, beginning at the last book of the Old Testament and continuing to the first book of the New Testament.

Why,--- because, the set of scripture predicting the First coming of the Messiah, also known as Jesus the Christ was complete in every detail.

Now, this is the part that we want to share with you. There is the second set of prophecies that tell us that Jesus is coming back again to get His church and to follow through and establish His earthly rule and to bring judgment on the people that have denied God and have lived their lives apart from Him.

We want to bring to your attention that, if the first set of, 300 prophecies were fulfilled in every detail, we can have the confidence that the second set of prophecies concerning Jesus’ second return, as the Lion from the tribe of Judah, will also be fulfilled.

We refer to this exciting event as, the Rapture of the church.

There are five sets of scripture describing Jesus’ coming in the clouds. This artist rendition of this event gives us an idea of what will be happening when the Rapture takes place.

May we take a few moments to look at this picture again and consider the impact it will have on those left behind. We can imagine that there will be calamity on this earth that will be unimaginable.

This is the reason, that we are giving you this information, now.

Know one knows the day and the hour as to when Jesus will come and get His church, but the second important thing to consider is, if we should die in a car wreck or plane crash or if a heart attack or cancer takes us out, our eternity is established forever without any recourse.

May I talk to you as a grandpa for a few moments?

My wife and I have two children, six grandchildren and eight grandchildren plus brothers and sisters on each side of our family. When we get to Heaven or if the Rapture occurs first we want to see all of our family in Heaven.

Please stay with me a few more moments and let me talk to you as a grandpa. I want to tell you how you can be ready when Jesus comes to get us.

Have you seen the movie, The Passion of the Christ ?

This dramatic presentation of Mel Gibson's movie, The Passion of the Christ, is the greatest love story ever told.

The Old Testament prophets had given more than 300 predictions of the love and sacrifice that was presented before you on screen.

The awesome truth is, that all of these prophecies were predicted and recorded in a 36 hundred year period in the Jewish book, the Torah.

The complete set of manuscripts, were written in Hebrew and Greek in a completed package four hundred years before the birth of Christ.

These prophecies being spoken and recorded and then being fulfilled hundreds of years later, confirms, the reality and authenticity of Jesus Christ being the Son of God, the Promised Messiah, the Christ, and the Savior of all who will come to God through Him.

It is recorded that His disciples, the 120 people that were in the upper room, and as many as five hundred people saw Jesus in a forty day period after the resurrection.

Without the resurrection the crucifixion has no value or power.

The main theme taught in the book of Acts as the gospel is being preached is, the resurrection of the Son of God.

The cleansing and forgiveness of our sins and receiving Eternal Life are all hinged on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

Now, that all of this information has come to your attention, have you considered what it really means?

You may be asking yourself questions like this;

Is this for real?

Is Eternal Life available, to me, because of God's love and the sacrifice of His Son Jesus on the cross?

What am I going to do with these facts presented to me?

The answer to those questions and the action you take in regard to them will make the difference of you receiving God’s gift of Eternal Life.

In the Gospel of John, chapter 3, Jesus gave Nicodemus, a religious leader at that time, two pieces of information that would change his and our lives forever.

The first was, when Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Verily, Verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." So, as with Nicodemus, we are presented with a new question to consider.

Like Nicodemus, we may ask Jesus, "How can a man be born-again?"

Then the second piece of information Jesus gave to Nicodemus is contained in verse sixteen of the same passage, in which Jesus said, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

So how can we tie these two points together and apply them in our life and receive God's gift of love, Eternal Life.

First, we must believe that all of these things are true, that what the scriptures say about Jesus is true, that He was the once and for all sacrifice for sin. That He shed His Blood on the cross and died, and then He was buried. Then, according to scripture, God raised Him back to life on the third day.

Then to this information we need to add the fact that each of us is a sinner, separated from God and that Jesus did all of this for us, in order for us to be forgiven of all our sins and be brought into a right standing with God.

So, how do we do that?

The next step is to simply pray a prayer asking God to forgive us of our sin and then asking Jesus into our heart to be our personal Savior.

Here is a suggested prayer. Just talk to the Lord from your heart.

Please repeat this prayer after me.

Dear Jesus. Thank you for loving me enough to die on that cross to take the penalty of my sin on yourself. I ask you to forgive me all of my sin and come into my heart to be my Savior. I ask you to help me to grow and to become the person you want me to be. Amen

By praying this prayer in all sincerity, you have been born again because the Holy Spirit has entered your body and has recreated your inner spirit. You have become a child of God and if Jesus comes in the next five minuets He would take you with Him even though you have not had a chance to grow up in Him.

Put this date in your calendar to remember forever that you have begun a new life in the family of God. You have made the transition from religion to relationship with the God who created the world and the Lord that loved you enough to die on the cross for you.
